Israeli Strikes Kill 106 People in One Day

Al Jazeera has reported what it described as a “bloody Friday in Gaza,” with 106 Palestinians killed in a single day due to intensified Israeli attacks across the war-torn enclave.

One of the deadliest incidents occurred near southwest Gaza City, where Israeli forces allegedly fired on civilians waiting for humanitarian aid. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, 12 people were killed and 90 others wounded during that strike.

Famine Deepens: Starvation Claims More Lives

The humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate, with two children and one adult dying from famine and malnutrition within the last 24 hours. The total number of starvation-related deaths in Gaza now stands at 162, including 92 children, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.

The UN and aid organizations have repeatedly warned that Gaza is facing a full-blown famine, with nearly one-third of the population going days without food.

War’s Total Death Toll and Injuries

Since Israel launched its military campaign following Hamas’s October 7 attack, the Palestinian death toll has reached at least 60,332, with 147,643 wounded.

Meanwhile, Israel reported 1,139 deaths during the initial Hamas-led assault, with over 200 people taken hostage—some of whom are still believed to be held in Gaza.

 Final Takeaway

As the war in Gaza enters a deeper humanitarian crisis, with airstrikes intensifying and starvation spreading, global pressure is mounting for a ceasefire and unrestricted humanitarian access. Friday’s deadly events highlight the growing civilian toll—both from violence and hunger.
